Child Funerals

The loss of a child is truly devastating and no parent should ever have to arrange their own child’s funeral. There is no easy way to begin to plan these funerals, it will be difficult but we are here to help, offer guidance and support you every step of the way. We will arrange at your own pace, whilst planning a unique and fitting tribute to your child.

We will not charge funeral director fees for anyone under the age of 18.

We cover the cost of:

Professional Services

Bringing your child into our care and preparations for viewing

Use of our private chapel, including out of hour visits

Embalming (if required)

Ceremonial vehicle and staff for the day of the funeral

The Children’s Funeral Fund will cover the cost of a child’s funeral (for children under 18 and stillbirths after the 24th week of pregnancy), we apply for funding to cover the cost of third party fees for burial or cremation and also £300 towards the cost of the coffin.

There may be costs for services that you wish to include which are not covered by ourselves or the Children’s Funeral Fund, such as flowers, specialist hearse, cost of purchasing the grave and orders of service or even a Dove release.
